The HR Generalist is responsible for the day-to-day management of HR operations and functions. The role is expected to provide a wide range of human resources services to the EG LNG workforce. Responsible for the development and implementation of Human Resource policies, procedures and practices and the execution of special projects. Requires a high level of confidentiality and initiative
due to exposure to sensitive and confidential data.

  •  Implements HR services for client organizations. This includes the development and administration of national and expatriate staff policies,practices and procedures; recruitment; compensation; reward & recognition programs.
  • Works with HR and management staff of affiliated organizations on the Punta Europa site to promote consistency of HR policies and procedures and treatment of expatriate and national staff throughout the site.
  • Provides guidance and staff assistance in the interpretation and administration of various human resources policies and programs, as assigned; involving employment, compensation, benefits, and other matters; meets with employees upon request to answer questions or otherwise discuss policies, procedures, practices and programs.
  • Ensures that required documentation and approvals are complete for various HR benefits including, among others, leaves of absence and vacation pay. 
  • Coordinates with the monitoring of the company salary structure and the variable pay programs within the company including bonuses and promotions, progressions.
  • Provides competitive market research and prepares pay studies to help establish pay practices and pay bands that help to recruit and retain strong workforce.
  • Provides day-to-day benefits administration services. Assist employees with any claim issues.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for  accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Participates, as required, in other activities as assigned from time to time by the line manager or supervisor, including personal training and development assignment opportunities.

Requisitos y experiencia

  • EG National with a Bachelor Degree or 3 years of Human Resources experience related to the industry is required. International experience is preferred
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, knowledge in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and SharePoin
  • Must read, speak and comprehend English is a required, Spanish is plus
